MINERALS (OIL AND GAS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1974 (LI 948).

The Minerals (Oil and Gas) Regulations, 1963 (L.I. 258) are hereby amended, by the insertion immediately after regulation 4 thereof, of the following new regulation: — "4A. Limits Prescribed under Regulation 4 may be Exceeded. Notwithstanding the provisions of regulation 4 of these Regulations, the National Redemption Council may in any particular case, where it is satisfied that it is in the public interest so to do, direct that any rights granted under a prospecting licence shall exceed the limits prescribed in the said regulation, and such directions shall be complied with."
