GHANA NATIONALITY (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1994 (LI 1583).

The Ghana Nationality Regulations, 1972 (L.I. 747) referred to in these regulations as “the principal regulations” are amended by the substitution for regulation 1 of the following— "1. Applications under the Act. All application under the Ghana Nationality Act, 1971 (Act 361) shall be made to the Minister in the appropriate form set out in the Schedule (which shall be submitted in duplicate), and shall be accompanied by the following fees, which shall not be refundable. Form 1 (application for registration as a citizen of Ghana under section 2 (1) of the Act . . . . . . . . . ¢100,000 Form 2 and 3 (application of Registration as a citizen of Ghana under section 2 (2) (3), (4) or (5) of the Act). . . . ¢50,000 Form 4 (application for registration of a minor child as a citizen of Ghana under section 3 (1) or (2) of the Act . . ¢20,000 Form 5 (application for naturalisation as a citizen of Ghana under section 6 of the Act . . . . . . . . ¢100,000 Form 6 (application for a certificate of citizenship in case of doubt under section 12 of the Act”) . . . . ¢10,000

The principal regulations are amended by the substitution for regulation 2 (2) of the following— “(2) One such sponsor shall be a judge, magistrate, minister of religion, public officer earning a basic salary of not less than ¢1.5 million per annum, legal practitioner, accountant, doctor or dentist”.
