GHANA NATIONAL MANGANESE CORPORATION (AMENDMENT) INSTRUMENT, 1977 (LI 1117).

The Ghana National Manganese Corporation Instrument, 1973 (L.I. 844) as amended is hereby further amended by the substitution for sub-paragraph (5) of paragraph 9 thereof, of the following new subparagraph:— “(5) The Corporation shall also have a Deputy Managing Director who shall be appointed by the Supreme Military Council upon such terms and conditions as the Supreme Military Council may determine, and who shall, subject to the provisions of this Instrument— (a) be charged with the performance of any of the functions of the Managing Director, when the Managing Director is absent from Ghana or is otherwise incapacitated from performing those functions; and (b) otherwise assist the Managing Director in the discharge of the said functions and perform such functions as the Managing Director may delegate to him, and accordingly unless the context otherwise requires any reference in this Instrument to Managing Director, shall include reference to Deputy Managing Director.”
