Eskwai was honoured to be part of this year’s Accra LawTech Hangout 2025, where we joined legal and technology leaders from across the continent for an inspiring evening of learning, conversation, and forward-thinking collaboration. As one of the event’s sponsors, the hangout offered us a powerful opportunity to contribute to the ongoing transformation of Africa’s legal landscape—one shaped by technology, innovation, and responsible adoption of AI.

The theme for this year, "AI in Legal: The Next Decade in Africa," aligned perfectly with Eskwai's goal of offering a trustworthy, accessible, and practical AI that strengthens legal work. The conversations throughout the event reflected that vision—thoughtful, ambitious, and deeply grounded in the realities of legal practice across the continent.

Our CEO, Dr. George Jojo Boateng, took the stage to share insights drawn from more than two years of Eskwai’s real-world usage by thousands of legal professionals, including lawyers from over 300 law firms and legal teams. His contribution emphasized how AI can transform legal research, empower more efficient workflows, expand access to justice, and enable African legal systems to thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape. His session resonated strongly with attendees—many of whom expressed excitement about the possibilities that AI brings to their practice.

One of the moments that stood out most was the live on-stage demo delivered by our COO, Victor Wumbor-Apin Kumbol, who walked the audience through how Eskwai performs real-time legal research, drafting, and document review in seconds. Seeing Eskwai in action—its speed, accuracy, contextual understanding, and reliability—sparked meaningful conversations among lawyers, students, and innovators eager to integrate AI into their daily workflows.

Throughout the evening, our exhibition booth became a vibrant hub for exploration and discovery. The Eskwai team showcased new features, answered questions, demonstrated real-life use cases, and collected insights from legal professionals across various practice areas. These interactions reinforced our belief that the future of law in Africa will be built through collaboration between legal practitioners and AI systems designed with responsibility, transparency, and local context at their core.

We are deeply grateful to Legaltech Lounge for hosting us and curating such an impactful gathering for the third year in a row. Their commitment to advancing Africa’s legal innovation ecosystem continues to be invaluable, and we are proud to support their work.

To everyone who visited our booth, engaged with the demos, shared feedback, or simply stopped by to connect—thank you. Your energy, curiosity, and commitment to the future of legal practice made this year’s hangout truly remarkable.

As we reflect on the ideas exchanged and the connections made, one message stands out clearly: The future of law in Africa is AI-powered — and Eskwai is proud to be at the forefront of this transformation.
