The Rent Control Ordinance, 1952 (hereinafter referred to in this Act as the " principal enactment "), as subsequently amended, is hereby further amended, by the substitution, for the expression" first day of January, 1948 ", wherever the expression collectively occurs therein, of the expression " first day of July, 1960".
