AI Generated Summary
In a matrimonial decision delivered by the High Court, Her Ladyship Justice Cynthia Wiredu (Mrs.) dissolved an ordinance marriage after considering a petition to which the respondent consented. The judge evaluated the petitioner’s evidence and found that the marriage had broken down beyond reconciliation, thereby ordering dissolution. The court further canceled the marriage certificate identified as No. Ram 544, 2012, and adopted the parties’ terms of settlement filed on July 7, 2022, as part of the judgment. Those terms formalize the dissolution of the marriage contracted on February 24, 2017 and confirm that the agreement embodies the parties’ complete understanding. The court recorded the adoption as a consent judgment and directed that each party bear his own cost. The judgment reflects a consensual and orderly resolution with minimal contested issues and clear ancillary reliefs.
