An ex parte motion for substituted service was considered by Justice Nicholas M. C. Abodakpi of the High Court. Applying Order 7 Rule 6 of C.I. 47/04, the court found the matter to be a proper case for granting substituted service and expressed satisfaction with the evidential basis for the application. The court granted the motion and directed that service be carried out in the manner proposed in paragraph 7 of the supporting affidavit. The court refused to authorize substituted service for all other processes and adjusted the posting period from twenty-one to fourteen days, exercising procedural discretion to calibrate both scope and duration of substituted service.
