I have considered the petition, the answer and the cross-petition. I have evaluated the available evidence on record and I am of the view that the marriage between the parties has broken down beyond reconciliation and same is hereby dissolved.
The marriage certificate with License No. NCRKM 0392487 is hereby cancelled.
The terms of settlement filed on the 3rd of August, 2022 is adopted as part of the judgment of this court. The terms are as follows:
i. That the marriage contract on the 6th February 2010 at Ramseyer Presbyterian church between the parties be dissolved forthwith.
ii. That custody of the children should be granted to the Petitioner with reasonable access to the Respondent.
iii. That the Respondent shall pay the full school fees, educational books and other educational necessities of the children of the marriage until they complete university.
iv. The Respondent shall have full participation in the choice of school for the children.
v. Petitioner would provide accommodation, pay medical, dental, and optical bills, and any other extra-curricular activities, including swimming, coding, and piano lessons for the children of the marriage.
vi. Both the Petitioner and the Respondent should be in charge of the children's clothing purchases.
vii. That Respondent shall pay monthly maintenance of Four Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢4,000.00) for the upkeep of their two children which shall be reviewed upwards of twenty per cent (20%) every two years.
viii. That Respondent should pay for transportation for the children to school.
ix. That the Respondent shall pay Seven Hundred Cedis (Ghȼ700.00) for Nanny services every month and Six Hundred Cedis (Ghȼ600.00) for extra classes for the children every month.
x. That each party shall bear his or her own legal cost.
xi. The Parties shall further procure the order of the Honourable Court adopting these terms as the judgment of the Court, at their own cost.
xii. These terms shall constitute the Parties’ entire understanding and completely extinguishes the rights, obligations and claims of the parties arising from the subject matter of this suit.
xiii. That the Terms of Settlement as contained herein be adopted by the Honourable Court and shall be deemed to have laid the suits to rest.
Each party is to bear their own cost.
